Capt Michael McCarten

Capt. Michael McCarten
Born in Country Leitrim, he came to the United States in 1848, and settled in New Haven. He enlisted in the Ninth Regiment in August of 1861 and was mustered as Captain of Company C. He was honorably discharged in April 1862 due to the serious illness of his wife.
